Why are you inspired to work with Rallyday Partners as a strategic jedi?
I was drawn to Rallyday after meeting Keriann and Samantha and hearing about their refreshing emphasis on founder-led-businesses and supporting those leaders personally and professionally in their journeys. The combination of investing in meaningful companies and supporting their people resonated with me. But Rallyday doesn’t just talk about the human side of business, they live it. That was something I could easily get behind.
Where do you think you can add the most value to companies as an individual and as a company? What is the secret sauce?
As an Enneagram Type 7 (Enthusiast) and Type 2 (Helper), I thrive with ideating, brainstorming, and supporting. In addition to the big picture and strategy side of work, I also love to get into the weeds of processes, systems, workflows, events, and partnerships.
How would you describe the best kind of client you enjoy working with?
They’ve got strong instincts but hold them loosely. They care about their stakeholders and human side of business as much as their growth metrics. Leaders who are more interested in getting to the right answer than being right.
What leadership skills do you admire and why?
Brutal honesty, kindly delivered. Decisiveness without rigidity. Openness to new information and perspectives. High IQ paired with high EQ makes for a powerful combination that makes teams want to rally around.
Why are you so passionate about people? What drives you?
I’ve always loved connecting people and as an extrovert, I’m wired for it, not just drawn to it. I get energized by connecting, connection, and community in a way that’s deeply engrained in who I am and how I go about the world.
