WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORY?
Playing basketball in the driveway with the other kids in the neighborhood for hours, pretending we were LeBron James and Zydrunas Ilgauskas.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST DEFINING LIFE EXPERIENCE?
When I was five my little sister went into a coma and awoke six months later as a non-verbal quadriplegic. In the months that followed we moved from Mexico City to Cleveland, Ohio to better support my sister. The skills I’ve gained, lessons I’ve learned, and pride I have as her brother are fundamental to who I am.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR TOUGHEST LIFE EXPERIENCE?
I tragically lost one of my best friends senior year of college. I aim to approach life with the same zeal, curiosity, and kindness that he did, and always prioritize relationships.
WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE TO BE THE MOST IMPORTANT LEADERSHIP SKILL?
AUTHENTICITY. The best leaders are able to command respect while being unapologetically themselves. Moreover, it’s a skill that fosters trust, humility, and humanity across all team members.
WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT?
The relationships I have with my friends and with my wife are my greatest sources of pride. I am grateful to have people in my life that push me to be better, inspire me, and occasionally make me go on a jog when I’d rather sit on the couch.
