Brian Kight

Leadership Architect

Black and white portrait of Brian Kight - Leadership Architect - Rallyday Partners

Why are you inspired to work with Rallyday Partners as a Strategic Jedi?

The chance to work with an aligned team of absolute committed rockstars — within client companies and the Rallyday team.

Where do you think you can add the most value to companies as an individual and as a company? What is the secret sauce?

My craft and my gift is to simplify the complexity around leadership, culture, and personal behavior. Simple wins because simple executes and improves.

How would you describe the best kind of client you enjoy working with?

A client who does the work, not just of the business, but of improving themselves and the way they operate their business.

What leadership skills do you admire and why?

I admire aggressive humility and patient urgency in a leader.

Why are you so passionate about culture? What drives you?

I am passionate about culture because of (1) how misunderstood it is and (2) how subtly powerful it is to build or crush a business. What drives me is to make the truth obvious and outlast the cynics.

Brian Kight

Leadership Architect

Brian – better known as “BK” – is the leadership architect at Rallyday Partners. His contribution supports the mission to “humanize private equity” and drive outsized returns, without sacrificing one for the other. He helps driven founders and teams scale leadership, culture, and behavior skill systems to fuel the growth of the business and experience personal fulfillment in the process.

Brian is a husband, father, founder, and entrepreneur.

He is also the author of DailyDiscipline.com, a popular daily email newsletter that helps leaders start their day with focus, energy, and discipline.

A former college football player, Brian privately advises head coaches and teams in the NFL, Major League Baseball, SEC, Big Ten, Pac-12, ACC, and more.

Where others get bogged down in complexity, BK keeps Rallyday and our portfolio companies focused on simple skills executed with uncommon discipline. As he’ll tell you, “The objective is professional, but the journey is personal.”
