Susan Chamberlain

Chief Compliance Officer

Susan Chamberlain is a compliance professional who has specialized for over 30 years in private fund startups and management.

After playing a key role in the startup of a Colorado-based company, Columbine Capital Services, that provided quantitative stock rankings to institutional money managers, Susan led the formation of a hedge fund. She then joined a high frequency trading firm in Houston, Quantlab, as the CAO handling compliance, HR and fulfilling other senior level responsibilities. Susan narrowed her focus to compliance at Holland Capital Management, a Chicago minority-owned institutional investment firm. Seeking to broad her experience by working with several firms, she became a consultant with Foreside (now ACA) serving private equity and hedge funds and helping grow Foreside’s private fund compliance business.

Susan loves working with startups and smaller investment firms. She has developed a wide network of compliance professionals, many of whom have become personal friends. She has attended and spoken at industry conferences with a focus on private funds.

At Rallyday, Susan registered the company with the SEC following the successful launch of RDP Fund I. She has developed and implemented RDP’s compliance program, educating many employees who have not had experience working for a regulated entity. She and her husband are happy to return to Colorado and add William, a ragdoll cat to their family.

Susan graduated from the University of Texas with a BA in English and received an MBA from the University of Denver.
